Is there Life After Death..??

This is a long back thought when I was Schooling...!!! Still didnt get any info on this..:)

Is there Life after death .. ??Many a times I have been thinking ,Is there Life after death.. ??I have read and heard,Life is all about ‘Karma’.You do good karam in this life time and would get the better life in your next birth.Some even say that you devote yourself to god in this birth and you will attain ‘Nirvana’ .I dont know if its true or not. I have heard many news of people remebering some bits about their previous Birth .Even my ‘Dadiji’ says that she remembers that she was a wife of the Lawyer and was killed by someone whom she do not remember.She told that when she was young ,she knew the name of her son and daughter and some poeple of their village did o and enquire and such person did exist.They found it very strange.I just beleive that she just cook up stories to fight her boredom. I do not know if its true or not.I was seeing National Geographic channel long back ,I forgot in which grade I was.They were showing some haunted places.They told that according to their studies,Souls do exist.And they are in the form of vapour.Oh that was funny !! . In the same channel I saw that they kept a person who was on the verge of death ,in a closed room and they noticed that the room was full of vapours after that person was dead. They also interviewed few people whom they said that they have experienced death and have fought and came back live.They did mention How was their experience ,which i do not remember now.I have read stories,that when a person is about to die ,’Yamraj’ come sin his Chariot and takes the soul with him.And they then decide where to send that soul - ‘Narak’ or ‘Swarag’ . This is intereting ,I would like to see that happening with my own eyes.I was watching something over the TV ,and some one said ,each time a person dies ,at the same time someone is born because this universe maintains the Balance.After the person is dead,they perform many rituals so that,that person should get a good life in his/her next birth.When my ‘Nanaji’ was dead ,All i could remember is they kept a Pot in the attic.And when I asked what was that for ,They told me that after some days they will get to know ,If he was reborn or got the ‘Nirvana’.If he has got the rebirth ,Then they will get to know as a Boy or a Gurl. I do not know if they were just trying to deviate my mind or that was true.But definately that was Interesting.I waited for so many days for them to tell what they got to know but then my Vacations ended and i had to return.What do U think .. Is there Life after death .. ??
